Purpose

To equip the Fitness Professional with visual, manual, and training skills for assessment program development to better facilitate CoreFIrst strategies of posture and movement for all clients during exercise and training.

Description
There is no singular way to train an athlete or client. Each trainer or coach has a different perspective to improve performance. However, one needs an assessment and training approach based on biomechanics and physiology. ‘CoreFirstⓇ Strategies’ for Fitness Professionals will teach you underlying, foundational motor control principles, upon which you can layer your already existing repertoire of training methods/techniques. These underlying principles – the CoreFirst Strategies (CFS) – are based upon the genetics of human growth and development and steeped in the rich application of PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation). Regardless of your background, CFS for Fitness Professionals Virtual Course will improve your outcomes with any client at any training level.

Objectives
By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

~Differentiate mechanical, neuromuscular and motor control aspects of exercise limitations

 ~Correlate Posture to Function.

~Utilize the Saliba Postural Classification System for more efficient alignment during exercise and training

~Apply CoreFirst Principles to your clients training strategies.

~Train your client to effectively improve mobility utilizing Active Elongation

~Identify and train appropriate exercise progressions.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

The CoreFirst® Strategies Course for Fitness Professionals changed my entire approach to training.  Once I applied the principles of alignment and Automatic Core Engagement (ACE)™ to the training of my athletes, I noticed a reductoin in the frequency of pain and improved recovery among my clients.  I utlilize principles from this course is all aspects of our program design, from movement prep to power training.
