Jerod Gard DPT, CFMT

Jerod is originally from El Dorado, Kansas, and became a board certified PT in 2009 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. He was introduced to the Institute of Physical Art during a clinical affiliation as a PT student, and never looked back from the path to becoming a CFMT. In August, 2012, Jerod became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist when he passed with honors. He currently works at AMP Wellness center in Santa Clara, CA. Jerod enjoys seeing the positive results with functional manual therapy and treats comprehensive cases including neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, high level athletes, and chronic pain patients. Jerod places a heavy emphasis on patient self management and independence, working hard to give people control of their lives again. His goal as a functional manual therapist is to see people function at their optimal level by helping them to move as efficient as possible. Jerod also speaks fluent spanish and portuguese.
